In this series, I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes insights into my daily life in marine conservation working at Sharklife in Sodwana Bay, South Africa, from underwater encounters and scientific fieldwork to training interns and running conservation programs.

Some days are filled with sharks, dolphins, and turtles, while others revolve around data collection, briefings, dive planning, and long hours in the water.
